The Hero Discount is a small, permanent way to give back to the people who keep our neighborhoods safe, healthy, and strong. No expiration, no fine-print games — just 10% off, every time, as our thanks.

Questions
Hero Discount FAQs
Who qualifies for the Lawn Theory military and first responder discount?
Our 10% Hero Discount is for active-duty military, veterans, retirees and their immediate families, first responders (police, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and 911 dispatchers), healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and medical providers), teachers and educators (Pre-K through university), and government employees at the city, county, state, and federal level. If you serve in Northern Virginia in one of these roles, you qualify.
How much is the discount and what does it apply to?
It's a flat 10% off, and it applies to every service we provide — lawn care and landscaping, hardscape and outdoor living builds, and exterior cleaning — on both one-time projects and recurring maintenance plans. Just tell us you qualify when you request your quote and we apply it to your written estimate up front.
How do I verify that I'm eligible?
Verification is quick and respectful. Most customers show a service ID, work badge, or a free ID.me verification, which covers military, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and government employees. It only takes a minute and you only do it once — your discount then stays on file.
Do family members of veterans or active-duty service members qualify?
Yes. Immediate family members of active-duty service members, veterans, and retirees are included in our military discount. If you're covering lawn care or a project for a service member's household, let us know and we'll apply the 10%.
Can I combine the Hero Discount with other offers?
The Hero Discount can't be stacked with other active promotions, but you always receive whichever discount saves you the most. It has no expiration date and stays on your account for future services — so you keep saving every season.
Which Northern Virginia areas is the discount available in?
Everywhere we serve — including Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Arlington counties, and communities like Fairfax, Ashburn, Leesburg, Centreville, Chantilly, Vienna, Gainesville, and Arlington. If you're in our Northern Virginia service area, the Hero Discount applies.
How do I claim my discount?
Fill out the form on this page or call or text us at (703) 650-5655 and mention that you serve. We'll schedule your free walkthrough, verify your eligibility once, and send a written, line-item estimate with the 10% already applied — no promo codes needed.
